Simone Veil, Mes sœurs et moi, 2026
Commissioned by: Mémorial de la Shoah, Paris
Curated by: David Teboul
Exhibition: 10 February to 29 November 2026
Presented at the Shoah Memorial in Paris, the exhibition Simone Veil. My Sisters and I offers an intimate insight into the history of the Jacob family through an exceptional collection of archives, correspondence, photographs and testimonies brought together by the filmmaker and photographer David Teboul. The exhibition traces the intertwined lives of Simone Veil, her sisters Madeleine and Denise, and their family, from their childhood in Nice through to the post-war period, creating a dialogue between personal memory and collective history.
Drawing on a wide range of previously unpublished documents, the exhibition sheds light on a more intimate side of Simone Veil while paying tribute to her brother Jean Jacob, several photographs of whom are being shown to the public for the first time. Through the voices, writings and images preserved by the family, it explores the transmission of memory and the way in which family stories are passed down through the generations.
Eva Albarran & Co supported the development of the exhibition by providing in-depth advice on production, curatorial coordination and operational management of the project alongside curator David Teboul and the teams at the Memorial. The agency also contributed to the implementation of the exhibition and the coordination of several editorial aspects related to its publication and public presentation.
