Rêvolutions, Céleste Boursier-Mougenot : Biennale de Venise

RÊVOLUTIONS

Céleste Boursier-Mougenot revives our taste for the wonderful Italian Mannerist gardens while reaffirming its contemporaneity and the political dimension that underlies it by transforming the French Pavilion into an organic and sound island. Moving trees, whose metabolism determines the movement, slowly oscillate on themselves, drawing animist choreography inside and outside the Pavilion and invent their own sound from the low-voltage electrical currents they generate. Visitors can immerse themselves or float in the harmonic continuum of this ocean of sounds traversed by the inverted images of the world produced by camera obscura.

Dora Maar, Eric Baudelaire : 1% artistique, Collège Dora Maar

DORA MAAR

A series of four films (or a four-part film) made with a group of students from Dora Maar College during the four years of their schooling. A film like the portrait of a group in a time and a place: a college in the suburbs of Paris at a pivotal period of life, the subject of which would be its own fabrication, a collaboration between a filmmaker and young students.

Quiz, Robert Stadler : galerie Poirel, Nancy

QUIZ
SUR UNE IDÉE DE ROBERT STADLER

Presented on the 1000 m2 of the gallery Poirel, QUiZ exhibition results from a carte blanche entrusted by the City of Nancy to the designer Robert Stadler, the creator of « Traits d’Union ». This permanent work was produced in 2013 for Ensemble Poirel as part of a public commission supported by the Ministry of Culture and Communication.
In addition of Stadler’s creations, QUiZ’s visitor discovers a large selection of current international artists and designers whose work questions the status of objects. Sculpture ? Product ? Furniture ? WHAT intrigues. WHAT stimulates. QUiZ allows to freely appreciate the stakes related to these things with amazing forms.
